What we collect

When you call, text, email or use the quote form, we receive the details you send: your name, phone number, email if provided, the address or area where the garage door is, what the door is doing, and any photos you attach. If analytics is turned on, the site also logs ordinary traffic data such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type.

Calls

Calls to the number on this site may be recorded so we can check quality and keep records. California law requires notice to everyone on the line, so a short announcement plays when the call connects. Prefer no recording? Reach us by text or email.

How we use it

To quote the repair, schedule the visit, do the work, follow up afterward, and keep the records a small business is required to keep. Your information is never sold, and it is shared only with the services that run the business (for example the form delivery provider, the call-tracking provider or a payment processor).

Remotes and access codes

If we program a keypad or remote for you, we do not keep the PIN. We note the opener model and the remotes programmed on the job record so we can help with the next one.

Retention

Job records stay on file as long as the workmanship guarantee, invoicing and tax rules call for. You can ask us to delete your contact details and photos at any time by emailing hello@springandcable.com.

Cookies and analytics

The site itself sets no tracking cookies. If an analytics tool is switched on later, it may set cookies to count visits. Block them in your browser and the site works exactly the same.
